IMPORTANT: When you first place an ikPIX file onto your desktop, it will more than likely default to a setting which stretches it across your screen. To properly view it you must select CENTER ON SCREEN.
FOR FASTEST PICTURE CHANGING: Hold down the CONTROL key and click onto your desktop for an instant contextual menu. Select "Change desktop background". When the Desktop Picture control panel opens, locate the folder of ikPIX files and drag and drop one onto the smaller desktop image. Select CENTER ON SCREEN. Move the image by holding down the OPTION key and using the arrow keys. Click the CHANGE DESKTOP button and close the window.
WHAT IF I WANTMORE THAN ONE FAUX APP TO APPEAR? In that case you'll need to use a full screen desktop picture. First, take a snapshot of your screen by using COMMAND-SHIFT-3. Open this file (which is named "Picture 1" and is located on your hard drive) in Photoshop or some other comparable image editor. Create a new color and completely fill the image area with this color, thereby covering everything that had appeared there. Next, open the ikPIX Faux App files that you want to appear, then copy and paste them onto the larger color image you've already created. Finally, save this file in PICT format and place it onto your desktop in the Desktop Picture control panel.
